Description:
This snake has a head which is barely distinct from a slender body. It is pink to reddish brown in colour. The head is dark brown to black with a black stripe that runs along the back to the tip of the tail.
 
Size:
Adults 50 - 60 cm
 
Behaviour:
Nocturnal
 
Prey:
Feeds mainly on small lizards and geckoes
 
Reproduction:
Females give birth to up to 6 young per litter.
